ABOUT ME
remember in the height of the pandemic when minecraft was booming and folks at home were like, "yeah sure i've got nothing better to do"?yeah, well, that's where my story starts.while content creation has been an interest of mine since about 2012, it wasn't until the summer of 2021 that i succumbed to friendly peer pressure to stream and bore WanderwispLIVE, streaming for the first time on july 14.in the years that followed, i involved myself in a few small minecraft smp's, created my character Larkspur for a dungeons & dragons campaign (see the next page), dropped the "LIVE" from my name, and started streaming minecraft hardcore.during this time, i graduated college, moved, and started work doing nothing remotely close to what i studied. i had been off and on with content creation because of these things, as well as other, more mental health-related bits.it's january 2025 as i'm writing this, and the world isn't in a great place right now. moving forward, i hope to reestablish a safe space and create content that provides comfort to folks.before posting about me or creating content of your own (should you feel so inclined), i kindly ask that you read up on my boundaries (two pages from now).
HARDCORE
Minecraft Hardcore has been the main focus of my streams and content creation at large. this unforgiving gamemode gives you one life. if you die, you lose everything and can't respawn, unlike regular minecraft.i've run four attempts. the first was back in october 16, 2021 which i dubbed "Wanderwisp Hardcore" as an autumnal hardcore series.my patience didn't last long, and i tried again on march 27, 2022 where i died again, and then again on march 28, 2022.it wasn't until october 24, 2023 that i kicked off my best run yet. for the first time in my decade+ of playing minecraft, i killed the ender dragon and "beat the game" in hardcore.since then, i've been working towards completing all advancements (achievements) in the game. this is a hefty challenge, and i'm very happy to share this experience with my community!
